A group of pigment on acrylic-infused 9 gsm tissue paper works, hung from aluminium tubes. The painterly/curtainly texture of the front surface is due to acrylic medium painted onto the reverse. The front surface of each work is cast from the same sheet of abraded aluminium (an elegant process in which the pigment was also the release agent between the metal and acrylic), hence the paper having a perennially abraded-metal mien. All these were made in 2010. In 2013 I made a pigmented resin-and-glass-fibre cast from the inside of the sheet of aluminium used to make the tissue paper work.

Each work 195 x 120 cm.
